Renegade/Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun is a 1986 arcade belt scrolling action game/side scrolling beat ’em up that also made its way to the NES and Famicom, and underwent quite the localization when coming to the West! Though there were other side scrolling beat ’em ups before this, Renegade was the first belt scrolling action game that allowed for movement up and down, in addition to left and right!
It’s not as hard of a clear as you may think, if you know a few tricks!
